Mclaneinc Posted June 17, 2022 Share Posted June 17, 2022 Just been going through a boat load of XEX's and I was stunned by how much of it was poor quality porn, I mean I'd seen the odd disk back in the day but by the time I was in to the Atari I was already sampling the fairer sex so why have a burger when you can have a premium bit of steak..(that sounds a bit wrong) It just seems that anything marked for 320K is a tip animated bit of porn and there's a LOT of it. I'm from the days of the hilarious Gigantic Gerry animation, the silly stuff but what I see in these files is pretty hard core. I'm no prude but there were some very shall we say, creative folk out there but I have to say if they were hoping to show off the graphic abilities of the Atari, most fell way short. Was just stunned by how much of it there is, can't be bothered to weed it out (I imagine it would take ages), I'll just leave a note with my collection stating its got stuff in not for kids and that I didn't create any of it! 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd delete it if I had the time but it was just the fact that when I was checking out what theses XEX's were (most not labelled correctly, no warning) that I saw it was so many.. Mclaneinc Posted June 17, 2022 Author Share Posted June 17, 2022 Porn on computers (and consoles) has always been an issue, collected a load of rom image files for the SNES and while flipping through the games etc I was a bit awkward to find demo's of Anime / Hentai, which although cartoony was still hard core and the coders had thoughtfully added a mode 7 tool to zoom in on the 'parts' of the girls which resulted in the most pixelated images going. Mind you the perversion in Japan re this stuff is mind blowing. Lest we forget the other very sad moment when Lara Croft AKA The Tomb Raider (almost typed crotch instead of Croft by mistake) hit the Playstation etc and the voices rang out for a nude patch...Seriously 1 and 0 porn??? I know the kids of today would look at the 8 bit porn and just laugh at how rubbish it was but that leads to the fact it's so easy for our kids to watch very explicit porn for free on the net.... Not good.. But yeah, today opened my eyes to just how much porn there is on the Atari 8 bit.. I'd love my gear to go to someone after I bite the dust but it's seriously making me think about clearing it out before then. It's not only the kids may see it, it's the fact that I'd most likely be judged as if it was my choice to have it. I changes over to MS-DOS/PC for work and did not start up Atari until about year or so ago.. Was it "good". Just interested, but do not need to see it!!! I was never a porn fan but as a kid I did find my brothers stash of top shelf material (he's 9yrs older than me).
