Ok, I have thre questions.

1. Where can I download all of the "Mercenary" games?

2. What is the best emulator for this?

3. Can you give me some screenshots from all of the "Mercenary" games?

Ive got 10 versions of Mercenary for lots of systems, but only got Damocles for Atari ST

 

As an ex-fan of Mercenary I do there were 3 sequels out too.

MERCENARY 2 - THE SECOND CITY

DAMOCLES

MERCENARY 3 - DION CRISIS

 

Thats the right order, I loved the first 2, but I didnt exactly like the solid undetailed graphics in Damocles and Mercenary 3, Rooms looked too empty

and its frustating banging into walls all the time.

Nice trys and Ive play them, but after a month or so I releiased both failed to get me hooked.

Im an ex-fan because ive completed the first two, and theres no need to go back to them, and also the rest failed to get me hooked.

I found out a PC version of Damocles exists

 

 

Makes me want it.. but sadly it wasnt released after it was finished.

 

 

I was just as the Mercenary site and it states the C64 version is about 1000 screens big, and the Atari 800 is about 500 screens big.

 

Werent they almost identical to each other ?

We could try, but it wouldnt be easy as wont find much more than screenshots.

I do like the other 2 but the original in my opionion would always be the most memorial.

 

Im yet to satifise a few years of my life on these 2 sequels, but I gonna get round to it, must say they are a lot more complicated.

Although long endless trips on the buses get boring, ill rather fly, but travelling in a space ship from one planet (as a passenger) to another is absolutely cool! Full scenery and look whatever direction you like.

 

 

But on land you find the graphics are too simple, the smoothness of the original is loss, actaully i wish they just stuck with the wire-by-wire graphics.

Ya, you're probably right, we cant find the pc damocles. Do you know of any good ST rom sites? I like the 1st ones, but the buildings are just too confusing, thats why i like 3 and damocles better.
