jetset #3 Posted September 17, 2003 What do you think this one'll end at? $200.00+ ????
holygrailvideogames.com #5 Posted September 17, 2003 Damn. I have this on my watch list, but now that it is posted here I will never win it. The last one I boxed one that I saw on eBay only went for about $100. You never know with eBay.
video game addict #6 Posted September 17, 2003 Wonder how much new old stock he has? That box looks banged up on the side thou.
CPUWIZ #7 Posted September 17, 2003 Yeah, it should really look like this instead.
holygrailvideogames.com #8 Posted September 17, 2003 I emailed the seller a couple of days ago and he said that it did NOT come with the fire button. This makes me wonder if this is new.
MrRetroGamer #9 Posted September 17, 2003 And let's not forget about the other box variation for this, which I have (complete with extra fire button and instructions)!
CPUWIZ #11 Posted September 19, 2003 $165.55 Damn I was close. $158.
jetset #12 Posted September 19, 2003 I emailed the seller a couple of days ago and he said that it did NOT come with the fire button. This makes me wonder if this is new. It's amazing just how evil and deceptive sellers can be. I never even considered that, advertised as new it would be missing a critical piece. How much you wanna bet the winner didn't know that??? Sad.....
MrRetroGamer #13 Posted September 19, 2003 It's amazing just how evil and deceptive sellers can be. I never even considered that, advertised as new it would be missing a critical piece. How much you wanna bet the winner didn't know that???Sad..... Not that I am defending this particular seller, BUT with a 99.6% positive feedback ratio, I think it's a reach stretch to call this guy evil and deceptive. The extra fire button is small enough that it could have easily fallen out of the box years ago and never noticed, but yet the item is still essentially new in the box, although not necessarily complete. I really don't think you can fault the seller here at all. And yes, there are abuses on eBay every day, but I really have a hard time seeing one here.
