Shawn #26 Posted October 18, 2006 It's not the best but this is the label I made for my grover cart.
Doc4 #27 Posted October 19, 2006 Atariboy, I've seen your stuff before online. Great work on that Dumbo game. I ended up watching Japanese movies all night last night and forgot about Grover. If I dig up what I have I believe it's built to dimensions already. I would be happy to pass it to you AtariBoy for some of that sweet art.
Doc4 #28 Posted October 21, 2006 Well, that's me out. I must have lost the overlay when my computer crashed back in 2004. I lost a ton of stuff due to lack of backing up my drives.
A.J. Franzman #29 Posted October 22, 2006 (edited) Heres how I've done with Dumbo game. I love that label, but I think it has some coloring errors (top of Dumbo's right ear, one of his toenails, and lower part of the opening at the end of his trunk). Here's my revised version: Edit: Wait! going back to the "origanl" art, I see that the ear thing looks like Atariboy matched the original, but I still think my way looks better. One of the other possible errors I spotted was not actually a color error, but a line error. On Dumbo's right hind leg, only one toenail is visible in the original; the position and curvature of the foot keeps the second out of sight but there is a bit of flesh visible above the one toenail. Atariboy2600 changed the shape of this bit of foot slightly so it ended up looking like a toenail that's gray instead of white. I have now updated my revised version to un-fix my first fix to the foot, then correct the line. Edited October 22, 2006 by A.J. Franzman
A.J. Franzman #30 Posted October 22, 2006 It's not the best but this is the label I made for my grover cart. Any special reason you made it Disney instead of Sesame Street?
+bfstats #31 Posted May 20, 2011 Sorry to have to revive an old (and apparently dead) thread, but was there ever a conclusion to this? Were any of you able to produce an overlay for Grover's Music Maker?
Pioneer4x4 #32 Posted July 16, 2011 I too am interested, I guess not.
raskar42 #33 Posted October 21, 2011 (edited) zombie bump I'm intersted in this too - also in a previous post - someone mentioned creating kid controller overlays for the star raiders touch pad. this sounds like a great idea to me. CaptainBreakout #34 Posted December 2, 2017 Here's to digging up the past... Is there any interest in making these overlays? This is of special interest to me since my very young kids love Atari and Sesame Street. Grover would be a cool bonus. Maybe there could be interest in rekindling this effort. Please respond if so.
