That one looks like it has real keys. I've seen some with the flat keys like Mattel Aquarius used. Although maybe those don't have screens. They might be mini TRS computers that still need to be hooked to a TV or monitor. :?

It doesn't need to be hooked to a screen. The keys are real although they are only about 3/4 stroke. It has a 8 or 10 line display (I have to go look at mine). It's considered to be the first notebook/laptop computer. It was actually a cover story for Popular Science where they declared it "the future of computing". (if anyone has that issue or knows were to get a copy I am looking for it)

 

I have 2 of them w/ a couple of software tapes & books.

When not plugged in it will run on 4 AA batteries and has a battery for memory backup also. It has the standard serial & parallel ports & port for tape/floppy. It has a built in text editor, spreadsheet, & basic. Pretty neat little machines overall.

Heck I just want the whiz kids there.

 

HehHeh I was just thinking...I have that comic somewhere in my collection...I guess they were giving them out free at one time.

I have it too; the Radio Shack at North Grand Mall in Ames gave them away when I was a kid.
