New joystick, new high scores

After reading that SMS controllers were compatible with 2600 systems, I decided to see how they work. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised! After trying a few of my fav. games with the SMS "control stick" controllers, I found I was able to reach new high scores. I guess the stiff old atari stock controllers were holding me back. Anyhow, I was wondering which are my fellow atarians' favourite stick when it comes to classic gaming? I heard the wico boss is pretty popular. I must admit, I don't think I'll be going back to atari stock controllers anytime soon.

Me to man! My brother had a Sega CD system that he told me I could have. I wasn't interested until I read a thread here about the Sega controllers. They are SOOOOOOO much better than any 2600 stick I've ever used. I never really cared much for the 2600 type sticks. Way too stiff imho. I was surprised at how well games like Missile command and Centi/Millipede worked. Now, it's like every game is playing it for the first time again. The paddle games don't work very well though.

Great sticks, IMHO. Haven't ever used one on the Atari, however. Maybe I should give it a try.

Yep, that's the one! The best stick I tried so far.
