JagWarlord #1 Posted September 22, 2003 Man I thought Atari was expensive to collect for... Look at some of the prices on ebay. Heres one auction for examplehttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...9&category=2467 Those prices are crazy.
devils advocate #2 Posted September 22, 2003 That Snake eyes is mint and carded though. It's kind of like comparing it to a shrinkwrapped quadrun or something. That particular Snake Eyes is a "Hot" item. I sold a lot of figures complete, mint but uncarded for 300usd a couple months ago. It had both Snake eyes, and 20-30 other complete V1 GI Joe figures. I also collect vintage hockey cards. A much more expensive, (and frustrating) hobby. Atari is a great hobby because 99% of the items to collect are very reasonable....As far as collectables go. DA, I hear ya, I used to collect hockey cards and finding the old Parkhurst cards in nice shape was almost impossible. The only cards I save now are Goons (players known more for fighting, for you non-hockey fans).
