chrisbid #1 Posted September 24, 2003 i got a nice hook up from a friend of my brother's... i nabbed an xbox and Panzer Dragoon Orta and Spinter Cell for 100 bucks. This was back on Saturday, and i finished PDO on easy tonight, i still have a lot of work to do in the game, but unlocking the original Panzer Dragoon was quite nice. Spinter Cell isn't very appealing to me, but it came with the package. I do plan on getting a mod chip for some good emulation action, but it wont be for a month or so. What exclusives are best for the system, other than Halo of course (I'll wait for a Greatest Hits price drop on that beast thank you).
Clock #2 Posted September 24, 2003 Depends on what sort of games you want..... Halo - FPS StarWars Knights of the Old Republic - RPG Project Gothem Racing (now cheap) - Racing (PGR2 is due soon) Max Payne (now cheap) - Stylish shooter/storey Soul Caliber II - Fighting Tony Hawk - Skateboarding trick/combo Colim McRae Rally 4 - Rally Racing If you go for Xbox Live then also get Castle Wolfenstein. bargora #3 Posted September 24, 2003 Steel Battalion -- Mech Combat Sim with Giant Controller Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- 3D Beat 'em up Gunvalkyrie -- 3D shooter with Difficult Controls Max Payne is also available for PC and PS2, but I hear that the PS2 version is inferior not only in graphics, but also in loading times. Since it's cheap, might as well pick it up.
chrisbid #4 Posted September 24, 2003 i was probably going to get GunValkerie, but 3D games like that annoy me because of the controls, to be honest ive yet to master the controls of PDO, yet i beat the easy difficulty... and i was about to say that max payne and tony hawk are on a bunch of different machines. devils advocate #5 Posted September 24, 2003 Serious Sam!!!! Awesome. And although not exclusive, Tiger Woods 2004 is my favorite game right now. I have all 3 systems and for some reason, it feels as if the "s" controller was designed for the Tiger Woods series. Graphics are a touch nicer than my Ps2 as well. Between the odd controller of the GC, and the SSSLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW load times of the PS2, The Xbox is really the best for Tiger Woods games. devils advocate #8 Posted September 24, 2003 As an afterthought, and off the thread topic. TW2004 is the best golf game I have ever played. It's much much different in philosophy than 2003 but, did they evr refine it!! Almost to perfection! Mario Golf (N64) and TW 2003 used to be tied for me as my favorite golf games. The Tiger stands alone now!!

chrisbid #10 Posted September 24, 2003 Jet Set Radio Future done! i got the JSRF/Sega GT bundle disk for five bucks, and a copy of World Series Baseball 2K3 for 10. I know that the 2K series of baseball games arent as good as WS 98 for the Saturn, but for that price, im willing to give it a shot
PuddWakkr #11 Posted September 24, 2003 I don't know if you're into these games or not but a good one is Syberia. It's a PC port of a point and click adventure game. Graphics are good and it controls nice too. Not too many of these on consoles and it's a nice change of pace (especially for $20 new). Syberia 2 is due out soon for the PC and I expect a Xbox version not too long after.
