Metal Slug X find

I went to EB yesterday, and looked through the stacks and stacks and stacks (id say around 500 games) and found Metal Slug X for only 18 bucks! This commonly sells on ePay for $30 or so, so you can understand my exitment. I got it home and played it... WOW it was what everyone said and BETTER! I would gladly have paid 30 for this game, but i got it for almost 1/2 the price on ebay. Oh, I also grabbed Nuclear Strike and Thunder Strike, both only $3. The discs were in great condition as well, so im quite happy

the Metal Slug series of games are some of the greatest, if not the greatest, 2d games ever made. MSX on the PS is pretty good but it looks so much better and is smoother playing on the Neo Geo by far, but then again, I'm sure you don't wanna drop $2000+ to play the full MS series on a Neo

 

I'm not 100% sure if they are still planning to release some MS games here in the US on the PS2 or not, but if so, those are definite gotta haves.

If I remember correctly the PS version is censored and is missing a lot of animation.

He could always go the Neo MVS route with a supergun and have all the slugs for a fraction of the $2000 for a Slug 1 home cart.

they are still planning on releasing MSX2 for the PS2, i think in oct. or nov. wow, there are a lot of games coming out this fall i want:

Half Life 2

Megaman X7

Ratchet and Clank 2

MSX2

XIII

plus some i cant think of now. yum

For a minute there, I thought you were talking about the NeoGeo version... I would have had to come over there and smack you for getting such a deal!
