CV video pass-through how to?

I'm aware that the Colecovision, via one way or another, can have video go though its CPU, or another main chip. Anyone know how it happens? Naturally I'm expecting some soldering and hacking to be involved to do this.

Are you talking about video pass through from the expansion connector? If so you can learn about it from the schematics:
