SpendTooMuchOnAtari #1 Posted September 30, 2003 Hey Everyone! Has anyone noticed how much more common Cosmic Swarm seems to be compared to Mines Of Minos or Room Of Doom. It seems for every two or three Cosmic's there is only one of the others. Anyway, I know that Cakewalk and Stronghold are no comparison but for all three of these to be the same rarity seems odd. I used to buy at sales and had people buying games for me in Pennsylvania years ago and while I did come across Room of Doom and Mines Of Minos, I came across Cosmic Swarm an awful lot more. It seems the same on eBay too sometimes. Just a thought, I am now collecting Atari and am interested in CommaVid games as I now have Cosmic Swarm with the instructions and am selling the other cart on eBay that I already had in my collection. If anyone has the other two at a reasonable price, let me know.
NovaXpress #2 Posted September 30, 2003 Cosmic Swarm had much better distribution and was released before the crash began so a lot more copies were sold. I saw Swarm at every toy store, but the latter releases only at specialty audio/visual stores.
JCroniger #3 Posted September 30, 2003 It's funny, I got Cosmic Swarm (it stunk) when it came out, but I never remember seeing any of the other games at the time. At least I still have my original copy (box and instructions too). JIm
