NovaXpress #1 Posted September 30, 2003 http://money.cnn.com/2003/09/30/commentary...aming/index.htm The only thing of note is the theory that Sony and MS are waiting until 2005 for thr price drop because the next egneration of consoles won't eb ready until 2006. Software sales have gone up this year, but at lower prices so dollar volume has declined.
Albert #2 Posted September 30, 2003 I find it hard to believe that there won't be further price drops from Sony and Microsoft until 2005. ..Al

MegaManFan #4 Posted September 30, 2003 Bluster on their part. They're trying to front like the GameCube price cut didn't slap them in the face. I bet you they'll either price drop in time for Christmas or bundle up some big extras.
NovaXpress #5 Posted September 30, 2003 The earlier stories I heard indicated that the developers are screaming for price drops and putting pressure on the console makers. I'd have to assume that if sales don't take an unexpected upturn we'd have to see more price drops at Xmas.
liveinabin #6 Posted October 1, 2003 Well, in UK, the PS2 has just dropped from £169 to £139. I'm hopping mad as I just sold mine (with a few accessories) on Ebay for £170....but they DIDN'T PAY! So now I've got the auction running again and, thanks to this price drop, I'm going to get hardly anything for it
