Nintendo Penguin #1 Posted October 1, 2003 Hi all. If anyone has some Nintendo ads they would like to contribute to PlayNintendo.com, it would be appreciated. We are trying to accumulate a good size library of Nintendo advetisements... ... you can view the beginings of this page here: http://www.playnintendo.com/print_ads/prin...nt_ads_main.htm If you can scan some of those old Nintendo Powers and send me some jpegs, it would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, I am working on NES, SNES and Game Boy ads rightn now, but I will be happy to accept anything you can offer. If you can help, please scan at a high resolution, save as a jpeg and send to: [email protected] Don't worry about the size of the image or if it is not straight. I will resize, crop, and enhance it in photoshop. Thanks in advance for everyone's generosity. Mark aka - Nintendo Penguin
Han #2 Posted October 1, 2003 Sorry to be a bit off topic here... But I am just curious are you planning to include any Game & Watch material on your site?
Nintendo Penguin #3 Posted October 1, 2003 Absolutely! I forgot to include it on the current nav bar, but it will be added. At present, I really do not have much game & watch stuff in my personal collection... aside from those keychain things.
Miqorz #4 Posted October 1, 2003 I have some french canadian ads that came in the french canadian version of Kirby (Yes Nintendo released a NTSC French version JUST for Canada I had 3 sealed copies hah). I might be able to find them around here somewhere and scan them in.
Jasoco #5 Posted October 1, 2003 I wish I had a scanner. Though, I'd love to see some old NP's. Especially the really early ones and the first issue with SMB2! Also, scan the entire SMB3 Players Guide issue! I used to have it but it's long gone now! I even bought a second a while back. But it's also gone now. I got a lot of use out of that. Especially when I cheated and won the card match game every time. Good way to stock up on power-ups! A cool section on your site would be maps of popular old games. Like the SMB trilogy, some SMW maps. Anything you can get! Zelda maps are readilly available on the net.
