TXG/MNX #2 Posted October 3, 2003 Very GOOD! I did only have bad results
emkay #3 Posted October 3, 2003 Very GOOD! I did only have bad results Well, it was fun to create it. But some minor bugs are driving me crazy with this tool... -Drawing with PMg is partially diffcult, because the bit you want to set is flickering "1-0" -On the bottom of the picture you see some PM artefacts. I have never drawn them and I can't delete them due to the interface. Drawing in the PM on the bottom will appear sometimes in changes on the top and vice versa... I wonder if a future version will save executable files...

emkay #5 Posted October 3, 2003 "You're doing Great!" Thanks. Well, I hope a new version of g2f will make it possible to remove the artefacts...after a small finish of the picture ...then... I will release the picture per file
Dracon #6 Posted October 3, 2003 @emkay. It's unusual as for those artifacts stuff in G2F... Could you post here the *.g2f file (this one that you show), so as I can mail this picture to the G2F's author ???

OK...perhaps it can help to find the bug

analmux #16 Posted October 11, 2003 can you please send me the files for a new abbuc intro? Nice idea, maybe my scrolling MCS demo can be put on an ABBUC mag disk too. It could be an MCS-themed mag. By the way....Heaven, are you going to the JHV ?? ----- mux
Heaven/TQA #17 Posted October 12, 2003 i am still planning to go to JHV but it will be a hard trip as i am on a business trip day before in austria which is not in the near of Herten... hve
Heaven/TQA #18 Posted October 12, 2003 i tried to assemble the "wappen" source with graph2fnt 3.2 and with xasm. run on atari800win 4.0+ but i got just weird gfx on screen... did anyone double check if the asm export works of graph2fnt and with which atari emulator version? hve
Dracon #19 Posted October 12, 2003 Hey HEAVEN ! What are you doing wrong with X-ASM anyway? I tried assembling WAPPEN myself and everything works fine! By the way, go to: http://www.atariarea.histeria.pl/x-asm/ and download latetest X-ASM version (03-10-2002: released version 2.5.2) OK, so this is how I did it: 1. SAVE ASM in G2F 2. copy some files to be placed together: wappen.asm, wappen.scr, wappen.fnt and xasm.com 3. execute "XASM wappen.asm" 4. works fine !!! wappen.zip
Heaven/TQA #20 Posted October 12, 2003 drc, strange... this is what i got: strange... i'll get latest xasm... hve
emkay #21 Posted October 12, 2003 Perhaps it is a problem depending on different versions of Graph2fnt
analmux #22 Posted October 12, 2003 It looks like all the fontdata is shifted 2 bytes back in memory. Maybe your header must be fixed. ----- muxz
Heaven/TQA #23 Posted October 12, 2003 i must admit that druid does not work either.... i am not sure what i am doing wrong... graph2fnt v3.2 defaults settings a000,9000,8000 ASM DLI xasm 2.5.2, even the OBX and the ATR show same result, druid produces rolling picture with lots of garbage when running under atari800win4.0 PAL... which settings did you test the stuff???? hve
Dracon #24 Posted October 12, 2003 I didn't change any settings (address, etc.). I am using beta version of G2F now (g2f_v3.2x91.exe) which is non-public release. What about file I post in this thread? Did it work correctly for you ???
Heaven/TQA #25 Posted October 12, 2003 drc, your file works perfect on emulators... any others any experiences? back to "matrix:reloaded dvd"....
