Stupid Question about 2600 controllers

I am a newbie, so I have a question.

 

I was reading the 7800 faq and it said you can only use standard 2600 sticks on the 7800. Is this true? You can play almost any 2600 game, so how would you play KABOOM if you cant use a paddle controller? Or Indy 500 without a racing controller? So can you use only standard 2600 sticks?

You can use any standard Atari 2600 controllers, including the Paddles. If it does say "sticks" then it should probably be changed.

As a general rule, just say that 95% of anything that works on a 2600 should work on a 7800. Such has been my experience with my 7800. Compatible with nearly everything.
