Hell yeah it's a great game! Was, is, and shall remain my favorite 2600 game of all time. I even have a sealed NTSC copy!

 

I think there are 9 levels, after which the game loops back to the first.

I used to have the NES version of xenophobe, and that game was too difficult. I never really understood wtf I was supposed to be doing.. Of course now I wish that I still had it so I could look at it again..

I too have a sealed NTSC copy of it which I don't want to open, but I want to play this game bad. I guess I better buy a loose copy of it if I want to play.

The NES version makes me sad. Believe it or not, it's somewhat unfaithful to the coin-op. Not much, but little changes. The 2600 and 7800 versions are superior.

and to think the nes could play the old arcade games perfectly... it's sad, really.
