Lik Sang & Oldergames releasing 2600 games?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

what do you think of this:

http://www.oldergames.com/v2/

The partnership does not only involve Super Fighter: several future projects are ongoing and will be announced in due time, including for platforms like Commodore 64, Atari 2600, Mega CD, Dreamcast and more! All future releases will be distributed under the label Lik Sang Publishing.

Greetings,

Manuel

Hopefully the games that will be released are of a good quality and affordable. Time will tell as it always does.

I've never heard of this 'Super Fighter' `celebrating` it's 10 year anniverssary.... But hey, anybody wants to make good 2600, Dreamcast, etc. games, I'll buy 'em. More power to 'em, the more new dev for the oldies, the better IMHO.

IMO a "perfect" example of modern gaming:

Nice graphics and audio, but the gameplay is complete crap!

I'm not holding my breath for any 2600 releases from them. As we all know, of all the platforms they listed, the 2600 is the hardest to program for.

That didn't stop a lot of 3rd parties from sprouting up back in the day.

Now whether today's stock of programmers has what it takes, we don't know.
