M.A.C.E. Resurrection?

I'm curious if there are enough Michigan area Atari computer users to try and ressurect M.A.C.E. (Michigan Atari Computer Enthusiasts). I know of two or three people around here, but that's not enough to get a club going. If anyone is interested in trying to do this, feel free to chime in on this thread.

M.A.C.E. may have been absorbed into I.M.A.G.E., so you might have to get permission from that group first to resurrect the M.A.C.E. name.

Well it wouldn't really be MACE anymore anyway. I suppose I should say a "MACE like" group.

 

IMAGE sounds cool, but Indiana is a heckuva drive...

It is the "Indiana Michigan Atari Gaming Enthusiasts", so they must have a bunch of members in the Michigan area. Perhaps, if you contacted them, they might be amenable to hosting a sub-chapter? You'd then be able to utilize the group's structure & support systems (much cheaper) instead of forming a new group on your own.

I found A disk file with a bunch of M.A.C.E. Floppy disks, does any know if they are already backed up someplace.  I looked around on AtariAge and only found a couple.
