2600 vs. Coleco Round #04: Beamrider

Since the last round didn't work that well, here we go with a more popular game again...

 

Just comparing Beamrider on both systems, which one do you like better and why? Which is your favourite?

I prefer the 2600 version, it feels smoother and less choppy.

I prefer the 5200 version to the 2600 and Coleco version, but if I had to compare the 2600 version to the Coleco version, I'd have to give the nod to the Coleco version because it game has a much better feel to it, at least to me. Then again, I've only played the Coleco version on an emulator.

Every version is fantastic. I used to play the Intellivision version as a kid but I play the Atari 2600 version the most now.

Gotta pick the CV again. All versions are excellent but I like the CV best.

I personally like the CV version the best.

Barring that, though, 2600 was nice. I need to check out the coleco one though, sounds like its the definitive beamrider.
