Did anyone ever get a Communist Mutants from Space poster?

Recommended Posts

I remember when I bought my copy of Communist Mutants from Space back in 1983 that there was the offer for a poster in it. I liked the cover of the game, but I never got around to ordering it before the crash and Starpath closing up shop. Did anyone here actually mail order one of these?

Actually, I'd love to see a scan if anyone has this, or a link to a site that shows it. I really like the "B-movie" style artwork on this one.......a true classic! Somewhat similar to some of the old Universal coin-op cabinets.

Speaking of Communist Mutants, I'm surprised that this shoot-em up is not mentioned more often as a favorite of gamers. This game really is excellent, what with the combination of Galaxian style gameplay and game options available. You can start it at a vicious difficulty level and tweak many of the other game details.

Any other "Communist Mutants from Space" fans out there?

I think it's a little too easy for me. Especially with all the good stuff like time warp and guided missle turned on. Not my favorite Supercharger game. Escape From The MindMaster would take the #1 spot for me, followed by Phazer Patrol and then Survival Island.

That is some cool box art. I'm sure there are some posters floating around somewhere. I'd love to have a poster of that artwork.

I've been looking around for a few years now for a poster and have never come across one. I do like that artwork very much as well, so for the meantime I made a t-shirt out of it.
