Miracle Design - Atari Karts - Merlin Racing (NUON)

Miracle Designs is the development company that did Atari Karts for the Jaguar. When NUON came out they did Merlin Racing which was like the sequal to Atari Karts. After all the work they did with the NUON game it looks like they did a PSX conversion and look at the mileage they have gotten out of that engine

I have a few of them, they are cool but not ultimate hits, the Nuon version is much better and complete

I love the way each of those is like an expanded version of the NUON game, in that one vehicle has loads of tracks coded for it as opposed to the NUON version which had all of them in.

I've got the Nuon version and I also have Miracle Space Race for PS1, but I haven't seen the others yet. The pics on that web site are for European releases. I don't know if all of those are going to make it out for the US market, considering how dead the PS1 market is here.

 

I do know that Miracle Designs are considering making an updated version of Merlin Racing for modern consoles, though. Don't know how far they've gotten with it, though. I remember from the Nuon-Dome that one of their reps said it'll only be on PS2 and Xbox, though. They probably wouldn't support GameCube.
