JagWarlord #27 Posted October 14, 2003 its not virtual fighter, its virtua fighter. and the saturn version of the game sucked, the 32x version was more consistant, and VF2 is a better game than the first All the VIRTUA fighters are good. Haven't played the 32x version yet though.
Ze_ro #28 Posted October 14, 2003 So, no one liked Killer Instinct? Sadly, I used to play that game quite a bit, but the whole combo system was stupid and way over-emphasized, and any game with infinite combos loses points in my book. --Zero

Xot #31 Posted October 14, 2003 Sega also didn't make power stone or soul calibur. I said produce, not develope. Sega did not produce, develop, or publish either game. Sega's only ties to these games is that they appeared on a Sega platform.
Xot #32 Posted October 14, 2003 So, no one liked Killer Instinct? Sadly, I used to play that game quite a bit, but the whole combo system was stupid and way over-emphasized, and any game with infinite combos loses points in my book. --Zero Nahh. It lost its appeal pretty quick for me... it was a MEGA turtle fest since there were no throws... the high-level players always sat in a corner and blocked and counter-attacked and never did more than a 3, 4, or 5 hit combo for fear of getting combo-breaker'ed. Boring at high levels and frustrating for beginners. Played it for a while but never really got "into" it.
ROBOTRON #33 Posted October 14, 2003 I thought KIGold on the N64 was impressive, unfortunately I could never get the hang of the combos because of the controller...combos are crucial to this game.
