Cybergoth #1 Posted October 15, 2003 Hi there! So, I've seen some weird NES games from Capcom on emulation: Final Fight 3 Street Fighter 3 Street Fighter Zero 2 Anyone have any infos about these? This certainly weren't any official NES releases, or? (Homebrews? Prototypes? Translations from Japan?) Greetings, Manuel
MegaManFan #2 Posted October 15, 2003 Beware of thinking these are authentic. There are a lot of poor quality homebrewed NES games masquerading as authentic products, like a "Smash Bros" game that was clearly never made by Nintendo (jerky sprite movements and often screwed up graphics). vanman #3 Posted October 15, 2003 what about Impossible mission 2? I kinda have been addicted for a while and foregot to ask.
MegaManFan #4 Posted October 15, 2003 IM2 is legit, it's an American Video game, but it's a little scarce. I think I paid $15 for mine at a con.
King Atari #5 Posted October 16, 2003 There is a legit Final Fight for the NES, though. It's called Mighty Final Fight, and it's actually pretty good.
Cybergoth #6 Posted October 16, 2003 Hi there! Beware of thinking these are authentic. There are a lot of poor quality homebrewed NES games masquerading as authentic products. Hm... but they're not looking poor. In fact, Final Fight 3 looks way better than the official MFF release. And the 2 Street Fighter games seem also way above the homebrew level. They're 384/640/768K ROMs! Anyway, I found the link again: Capcom Games So you can see for yourself. Beware: I didn't get them to run on anything but Nestopia. Greetings, Manuel

Nintendo Penguin #9 Posted October 16, 2003 Devo - TMNT Tournament FIghters was a legit NES release. PRetty rare though, at least in the USA. MegaManFan - Impossible Mission for $15?!?!? Wow. I got mine at Funcoland for $2.00 a couple of months ago. Just thought you would like to know that.

Greetings, Manuel Those SF NES games are terrible, but none are as bad as the King of Fighters pirate game. The game where it will randomly switch your character to your opponent, and moves are impossible.
