SpendTooMuchOnAtari #1 Posted October 16, 2003 Hey! I know I just posted a thread here but I have a question about an auction. I just won this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=15686 and am wondering where it came from, how did people get it? It does have a copyright on it and ATARI CLUB but since no one else was really bidding on it, now I am wondering why. Perhaps everyone knows this is a "fake" or something like that. Maybe, these are common. I won it already so I guess it doesn't matter much now but if anyone knows anything about it, let me know. Thanks!!
MrRetroGamer #2 Posted October 16, 2003 If you check here, it will tell you that you got a free T-Shirt when you ordered your Swordquest cart thru the club. http://www.atariage.com/magazines/magazine...&CurrentPage=
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #3 Posted October 16, 2003 If you check here, it will tell you that you got a free T-Shirt when you ordered your Swordquest cart thru the club.http://www.atariage.com/magazines/magazine_page.html?MagazineID=3&CurrentPage=11 Great! Thanks a lot! Maybe it is authentic then, I have not seen one of these on eBay before. I must say that if it is real and in good shape, the price was right. The Waterworld shirt would be really cool.....if it exists.
MrRetroGamer #4 Posted October 16, 2003 And somewhere in a landfill, there must be 5 million Air World shirts too!

Buyatari #6 Posted October 20, 2003 I have that Fireworld shirt as well. $10 is a steal. If I had to sell everything that would be one of the last things to go. Good job Adam
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #7 Posted October 20, 2003 I got it today in the mail and it has quickly became my "most-prized" Atari posession right now. I agree that I would probably get rid of this last if I was selling any of my collection at any time. This doesn't even look washed or worn, it is like new and awesome! I have said before that I rarely get the good BIN's but this was a good find at a good price for a regular auction. While I agree it is not as well known or as desireable, this has to be as rare or rarer than for instance the WaterWorld cartridge. I know this is for FireWorld but how many of these shirts are still floating around, not many I don't think. I would love to find the EarthWorld shirt too! Buyatari #8 Posted October 23, 2003 It doesn't have to be ULTRA EXPENSIVE or in HIGH demand to be cool. Good luck with the other 2 shirts. Adam

Keir #11 Posted October 23, 2003 Why couldn't the games be even a tenth as good as these shirts? http://www.atariage.com/features/StarWarsC...test/index.html (that was really hard to find)
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #12 Posted October 23, 2003 It doesn't have to be ULTRA EXPENSIVE or in HIGH demand to be cool.Adam Ahhhhh, I have been misled this whole time. I really thought that was the criteria for cool. I have a lot of changes to make now, I better get on it.
