Ever had this happen to you?

You stay up all night waiting for an auction to end so you can snipe at the very last minute, but then 5 min before it ends your computer crashes and you miss the auction!!!!

no but ive had the power go out 3 min before the auction ended and i missed it by a few seconds

I haven't had that happen to me, but I have stayed up very late before to bid on an auction only to bid 1-2 seconds after the auction ended. I try to get my bids in at the very last second.

i cant remember what the auction was when the power went out

probably a 3DO or CDi game

 

 

the one i fell asleep just 10 min before it end in my computer chair was a portable CDi player, i was pissed cause it sold for $94

The whole lot was atleast worth $250

I used to have my DSL connection tank on me at random times when I was trying to watch auctions and bid before close. A couple of times I even had to dial up my wife's AOL in a straight panic and attempt to snipe at slow ass 28.8 connections. I think that was one of many reasons (besides MSN's terribly inefficient and idiotic customer support) that I finally switched to Cox Cable.

By me something different happen in the past. 3 Minutes after the auctions ends eBay crashed and no auction was working anymore. Then 6 Minutes later all was normal, but the auction I want was ended.

 

But now I have all get later by other auctions.

I missed a couple auctions once because I received a call from a seller during those auctions..
