SCSI HD's for MegaSTe

Whitch SCSI HD's are compatible with the MegaSTe and up to what size can I go up to??

Hi

 

SCSI-HDD's up to 1 GB should be no problem, if you have a new driver (like HDDRIVER from Uwe Seimet, newest version from this year - but its completely in german). But many Quantum-Lightning-SCSI-Drives will not work on it. In my STE works a 270MB-HDD from Conner.

 

And: You should replace the SCSI-terminators.

I am aware of that Curt just asking which brand of HD's can I use with the megaste since I plan to go to a bigger HD ;)

BUT THANKS ANYWAY CURT I WASN'T TRYING TO BE MEAN THERE I GET YOUR POINT OF SAING IT BECAUSE YOU CANT USE EVERY SINGLE HD OUT THERE

Ooops, sorry... I have had no issues with Maxtors to date.
