Tac-Scan have Gatefold box

I always wondering how often seen Tac-Scan does have gatefold box?

 

Is just a bit rare or what?

i thought both tac-scan and sub scan were ONLY available in the book style box. have you found a tac-scan box that is not book-style?

I have only ever seen these in gatefold style, anyone else that has one that isn't ?

Tac-Scan and Sub Scan are both available in a standard (non-gatefold) box. I have them.

That's the exact same box I have with My TacScan. Great game BTW, instead of using lives, you have a fleet of ships and when it's gone, it's gone, but you can get more. Having 5 ships flying around shooting all at once was just so awesome IMO

Tac-Scan was just begging for a proper port. The arcade game was so much more than what you see represented here. I so wish there had been a 5200 edition. The 2600 version is a fun game, but as far as accuracy of translation it ranks somewhere below Pac-Man.

Wow, I didn't know TacScan was an arcade game. That's pretty bad that someone would rank it's translation below pac-man's. Just goes to show, just because it's not a good translation, doesn't mean it's not a good game.
