Superchargers are pretty easy to come by, but need to be modified to load 2 to 4k games reliably. And good luck finding a cuttle cart, I want one really bad and the last one (only one ever) that I seen on ebay went for 202.00. Superchargers usually range anywhere from 15.00 to 40.00. Depending on the ebay market at the time. Sorry I don't have any extra SC's but I have modified mine and it works great. Some small soldering involved. and a gate chip

on that note, has anyone expanded the memory of the supercharger?

 

shame there aren't any flash carts in production.

The way that I understand it, the SC uses it's own bankswitching technique (since the VCS is only designed to handle up to 4k at a time...the limitation of the 6507 chip). There is a memory location that the SC "looks at" to be instructed to switch banks...and the modification basically keeps that location from causing this to happen (tricking the SC into "thinking" that this location is not being accessed). So extra Ram wouldn't help, because other larger carts use a variety of other bankswitching methods that the SC is not designed to do (the 2k/4k roms work fine, because nothing is being switched).
