rasty #2 Posted October 26, 2003 Congratulations indeed! Carnival is a game I really like.. too bad the score rolls at 100k so it's a pain to keep track of it Regards! Rasty.-
King Atari #3 Posted October 26, 2003 Wow, congrats! Carnival really is a great game, I just bought the Intellivision port, which was a bit of a disappointment. The 2600 version is much better.

HermChase #6 Posted October 27, 2003 Thanks everyone! This is Chase. That was a nice game indeed. Had a few close calls, as Ron most likely saw. I might go to beat my score in a few days, if I get the chance...Don't know if I will though. It's a toughie. Congratulations indeed! Carnival is a game I really like.. too bad the score rolls at 100k so it's a pain to keep track of it Regards! Rasty.- Yes, I noticed this a lot. Usually, when I would play, I would be on the phone with my cousin, and make him count the "rollovers" as we talked. This particular occasion, however, I did not have the benefit of him being available. So, I got a pencil and paper, and made a "tally sheet" that I would mark between levels when I rolled it. Also, at the end, someone I knew was online cheering for me in an instant message, so between levels, whenever I broke a 25K, I'd update her. I achieved my three goals in the game, so I'm quite happy: 1) I got the world record. After that, I decided I would aim for (but didn't think I could) b: Reach 1 Million Points. Amazed, I made my last goal to IV. Double the current record. After that, I was basically free to play without "limitations", and...lost it. Oh well. Thanks again for the congratulations, and thanks to Ron for this post and for sitting through my boring video (about 90 minutes, I think?). -------------- Chase Hermsen
