How rare are Channel F games and the RCA II games.

How rare are Channel F games and the RCA studio II games? I have some that I am selling on ebay and haven't received any bids. Item # 3055220183 and Item # 3055220217. I thought they were really rare. Weren't these games before Atari. Also, does any one have a system for these games?

Please keep in mind that 'rare' does not automatically mean 'valuable'. I have a Combat game with my name on it. I'm pretty sure there's only one of those available, but i doubt that people will pay good money for it

 

Also keep in mind that most people tend to place their bid towards the end of auctions (to prevent bidding wars). Those auctions have six days left, so don't worry.

Well Channel F games are more common than Studio II games, but no one really collects for either system. Unless they're rare games for those systems you may have to list them several times to get bids.

yea, rare, but not many people care would be accurate. I have both systems, but dont really care about finding more games for them. they are weak.

i'm always up for any studio II or Ch.F carts not already in my collection but ebay is not the way to get them. once you combine the bid and shipping etc, you're talking $10 plus which is just too much to pay for a cart i'll probably never get into.

 

my 2 cents : you'll get a much better return on them if you trade the games instead.

I just bought 6 RCA Studio II games for $1.99 each from a thrift store. All are complete in box with instructions.

 

Although these games may be "Rare" and "hard to find" there is no demand for them. There may be fewer Studio II baseball carts listed on eBay than NES pac-man carts, but more people want the pac-man game so it has a higher value.

 

I also noticed that the 2 studio II carts you have seem to be the most common games for this system. Just about every eBay auction for Studio II games includes 1 or both of these games.

 

Also your shipping charge may scare away a few buyers. Most people don't like to pay more on the shipping than they are on the product.

In the world of book collecting, the term scarce is used to describe this situation. There must be some demand for something to be considered rare.

Shhh.. don't alert people to the fact that RCA Studio games are going for so cheap on Ebay... I've been slowly completing my collection for 1.99 a game!
