+kisrael #26 Posted November 9, 2003 The Sega scream has endured better than the company itself so that would be the best ad campaign. It gave the company a certain edge. I think the best but short lived ad was a British Ad for Command and Conquer. It showed pictures of Hitler, Stalin and Mao Tse Tung with the caption "Previous High Scores". Sick but brilliant. It was pulled soon after it came out. However, the best campaign was the first extensive use of Shareware with Doom. It sucked everone in and became the model for games that came after it. Yeah, you're right on all of that....especially DOOM. Man was that game popular.
