Redcurrie #1 Posted October 31, 2003 I think that this guy is bidding on his own auctions. I bought some carts from him and the PayPal address that I sent payment to was [email protected] http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3056262616 The carts arrived as promised and he is a good seller.....I guess that auction hadn't gone high enough for him! video game addict #2 Posted October 31, 2003 Yep shill bidding for sure. I'd say that in that current auction both the bidders are shill bidders he's using to drive up the cost of his wares.

Redcurrie #5 Posted October 31, 2003 Look at his feedback!!! http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?...d=danielvonholz What an ass! I saw that. I guess that if you're willing to pay the seller's fees when you get stuck with something you own and bid on, it's the only way to "buy" positive feedback! Room 34 #6 Posted October 31, 2003 What a dumb ass. I'd say someone should bust him... but it's almost more fun just to watch and see what he'll try to pull next. But I wonder if someone maybe should tell him that multiple positive feedbacks from the same person don't count in your overall rating!
Dolt #7 Posted October 31, 2003 Bidding on your own stuff is not only obnoxious, it can be dangerous to your wallet too. I've never done it myself, but my friend Pat once had a sealed Rocky & Bullwinkle LP from the early 60s that blasted off when he put it on ebay. It plateued around $150 and then he tried to edge it up by bidding on his own item. Then he accidentally overshot and became his own high bidder. He was starting to sweat when the end of the auction was 30 seconds away and he was now going to have to pay all these fees to ebay for nothing. Luckily someone outbid him at the last second, but he learned his lesson and preached the gospel about it to everyone he knew who sold on ebay (like me for instance). It's a dumbass thing to do.
