Hi,

I've also got a very cheap TT :) It cames with broken case, only 4 MB ST-RAM and the original Hard Disk (48 MB)

I removed the Hard Disk (replaced by a 500 MB Hard Disk), put some TT-RAM in it (hmm, only 256 MB :ponder: ) - only the case is the same as it came on :( - Next time it should become a graphic card (like NOVA or Crazy Dots :D )

Have fun with your TT, tjlazah, it's a great machine :)

Greetings

Mike

What memory upgrade board are you using for 256MB? What SIMMs does it take? EDO/FPM? 2k / 4k refresh? I am ordering one from Germany that is like yours I think...

Hi,

you'll need first a "Magnum TT" Fastram-Card (or another, which can be upgraded to 256 MB). See photo.

And then you'll need 2 of the rare 128-MB-EDOs. They must have the description "xx6540x" on the chips.

bye

Mike

How the heck does one get a set of SIMMs just the right kind for the module? Online of course, at a store it would be easy to spot!

Germany - you can only find it on ebay or by other private sellers.

It's a 512 KB RAM-Module from Becker & Partner (Germany)

Bye

Mike

In example: eBay - there are many auctions or buy-it-now-offers of simms. if there are no typenumber written, you have to ask the seller :)

Bye
