Tyrant #1 Posted November 11, 2003 Anyone care to point me in the direction of a nice friendly Dreamcast site? Im a Jaggy person normally but I recently started my Dreamcast collection (with some degree of style I think you'll agree), and would like to find a friendly place a noob can read and ask and learn which games are good, which are terrible, whats rare etc. Any pointers? I've found a few DC coder communities, but I've no real interest in coding for it (still trying to learn to code on the Jag). Thanx.

Tyrant #4 Posted November 11, 2003 Thanks, I'll have a read. I was more looking for a forum/community however, with active fans/collectors where I can ask all the silly questions I've got hehe. Somewhere like the AA of the DC world .
+Cafeman #5 Posted November 11, 2003 The Dreamcast Technical pages and its current forum at alwaysgame.com might interest you. http://alwaysgame.com/
Clint Thompson #6 Posted November 11, 2003 Dreamcasthistory has a forum.... good place imo. Good luck on your collecting... I'm at about 185-190 Its a fun ride.......
Dones #7 Posted November 11, 2003 http://www.dcemulation.com/ The page is very similar to atariage, but for dreamcast fans. It offers news, faqs, and lot's of legal stuff to download. They also have a very active forum.
Trooper #8 Posted November 11, 2003 Only problem is I just can't read the stuff on www.dreamcasthistory.com since I get tears in my eyes just thinking about the fact that I will NEVER be able to try out some of the great beta/previews they've aquired like Propeller Arena for example which I've been dying to check out since I first saw screenshots of it. Tyrant #9 Posted November 12, 2003 Thanx for your help everyone, I've decided the DCEmulation.com forums are very lively and where I'll make my new home away from home . Of course I'll always be a Jaggy person at heart, but I do like my DC lots too .
Atarinvader #10 Posted November 13, 2003 Out of interest, where did you get that POD from? I was offered one from work a year back but didn't have room for it...
Tyrant #11 Posted November 13, 2003 Pod? I'd call it a kiosk hehe. I lucked out, walked into a local tv shop hoping to buy a new cable for my headphones, and there it was sitting there, made the guy an offer an the rest as they say, is history.
