Maybe you should disassemble it and try to speed it up?

 

I'd like to see someone try to make Phoenix harder too. Phoenix looks good but it's just too easy.

I already have, because I helped slightly fixing the binary (constant even number of scanlines)

 

But really don't think it is worth the effort. If anybody wants the disassembly (99.9% uncommented!), PM me.

 

I'd like to see someone try to make Phoenix harder too.  Phoenix looks good but it's just too easy.

I must admit, that I haven't played the game enough to know enough about it. I always prefered Imagic's Demon Attack.
