This seller is starting to irk me.

Recommended Posts

I can't figure out why this seller does this....he won't let me pick up the stuff I won until the paypal funds are in his normal account :?

I have delt with him 3 times and every time I have to wait 3 days for the money to enter his account before I can pick it up :x

Why do you think he does this?

I have tried at multaple atm's and they won't let me withdrawl from my Paypal card. I have activated it and put my pin number in on the paypal website, but it won't work out of the atm. And paypal says that you can get it from any atm for a 1.00 So the only other way I can get it out is spend it out of paypal or, withdrawl it to my checking account. And if buyers pay with echecks I think they can hold the payment. But I dont think buyers can do that with normal transactions.

Maybe he's too paranoid about being ripped off?

How could he get ripped off :?

The money has been completed and gone through to him. The money is from my paypal balance, not a credit card or e-check. Even if the money got screwed up being sent to his normal account, that is still not my problem. I have already done my part. I dont undertand what his problem is..

Whats a 'paypal' card ??  :?

It is a free debit/credit card that is free from Paypal. You are supposed to be able to use it anywhere credit cards are accepted and you are supposed to be able to withdrawl from atm's but I guess I have the only promlem with that.

They don't cost anything and it deducts money straight from you paypal account.

It's like a credit or debit card except is funded by your PayPal balance. You can use it anywhere Mastercard is accepted. Not sure but it may only be for U.S. users.

I'm not defending the seller, but why do you continue to do business with him if you don't like his business practices? If you don't like the service in a store or restaurant, you don't go back, right? :|

Because he has a warehouse full of brand-new Jaguar stuff and he lives 5 minutes away from me. Excellent prices and I dont have to pay for shipping :)

If he lives so close and you don't pay shipping then you must meet him......why not just pay cash then? :ponder:

I also was wondering why you don't pay cash. Who is the seller who has a warehouse full of Jag games?

I also have a PayPal ATM card. I have taken money out using it a couple of times. Does PayPal really charge a $1 to do this? I didn't notice the fee either time that I took money out.

I could pay cash but then I would have to pay MD state tax.

It's a pain in the butt......but.....

If you take your card and a drivers license to the teller at your bank and say "I would like a cash advance please", they will run it like a credit card and neither the bank nor PayPal will charge you. AND...

if you get the cash back PayPal preferred thing like I do, you earn cash back by taking the cash out. Example, I withdrew $250 this way just the other day and I made $3.75!!

So, they paid me to take the money out....take that PAYPAL!

So, he charges tax to people that live in the same state and pay cash but doesn't charge tax to people that live in the same state and use PayPal? That sounds like a violation of the sales tax law in most states.

Either you charge sales tax or you don't.....doesn't matter what the form of payment is.
