onklsven75
Does anyone know if the Aquarius Home Computer system is rare or not. I saw one at a thrift store for $10, and was thinking about going back to get it. Thanks
christianscott27
rare sort of but totally unloved, the aquarius is an awful machine in every way. i've had two and found them very hard to trade off, even to hardcore types. the games are hard to come by and mostly INTV games, the carts are wedge shaped. theres an expansion pack for the aquarius which IIRC is needed for gaming. so umm in conclusion get it if you're a "museum collector" who has to have everything but if you're thinking of the games then pass on it. its worth about $20 in the box. onklsven75
Thanks! Thats kind of what I figured from looking at it, and never really hearing much about them.
tiggerthehun
I liked this quote about the AQUARIUS: "Programmers suggest 'AQUARIUS - The System for the 70's' as its advertising slogan, due to its extreme limitations as a computer." (Especially funny, considering it was released in 1983)
