DeV0 #1 Posted November 15, 2003 Finally i have a reasonably rare cart, Today i picked up Mangia for $1. The cart is in perfect condition, unfortunately it has been put in a video casette box so i only have the front of the mangia box inserted in the sleave with the instruction booklet behind it. I managed to get about another 20 in the same fashion but mangia for $1 is IMHO is something to brag about. Dont know, dont care if its NTSC or PAL. Also a spare exoset misile if anyones interested, front of box and instructiond included.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #2 Posted November 15, 2003 Great Find! I would put my money on PAL though.
DeV0 #3 Posted November 15, 2003 Yeah, im hoping it is PAL since i am from a pal country and all. Why did spectravision ad "for atari & sears video game systems" if it is PAL? we dont have sears stuff here at all. Im guessing there labels are universal. All i need now is bumper bash and that chuck the ?? for a complete english set Oh, i also have a new crystal castles label to ad to the AA list. DeV0 #6 Posted November 16, 2003 Yeah, im hoping it is PAL since i am from a pal country and all. Well if it turns out to be NTSC I'll trade you a PAL one for it... Tempest Yeah sure, no biggie really. does your pal one say for sears on it? If not than PM me with your details. I really think we need to review the pal/ntsc rarities. Im under the opinion that the moment people hear the word pal they think its common,,,, Can i just say a big NOT! Mangia basically is a needle in a haystack here downunder and a freak occurance of actually seeing it for real. 300 carts and still no ET
holygrailvideogames.com #7 Posted November 16, 2003 DeV0, I saw how you have 300 carts, but that you need E.T. I would be happy to trade you 2 E.T.'s for your one Mangia.

It's a shame that's not reflected in any great value for the games in question Congrats on your Mangia find, I've been collecting off and on for almost 10 years and I've never seen one. On the other hand I've seen several more ET's than anyone could ever want

As for ET, the film came out here alot later then the states. Id say the game stores had prior knowledge to the game somehow.
