SpendTooMuchOnAtari #1 Posted November 15, 2003 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...egory=3537&rd=1 Oh man! This sucks! The winner sent me two emails which in my opinion sound a little funny. Check it out..... the jaguar didnt come with a power supply i was wondering if youforgot to put it in or if it didnt come with it in the auction michael Keep in mind, I didn't reply to this email yet. Then they send this..... the sega power supply you sent does not work with the system and thesystem will not power up or turn on please reply back with what you would like me to do if because it is not working at all What do you make of this? What should I do? Most of you know me by now and I fully tested this system before I listed it on eBay....with that Sega Power Cord. I know the RF was shit but I said that in the listing. Lost Monkey #2 Posted November 15, 2003 A guy I knew a few years ago fried his Jaguar by unknowingly plugging his Genesis P/S into it.... I guess it is possible that the Jag got zapped...
Lost Monkey #3 Posted November 15, 2003 I just noticed that there were no games in your listing.. ask the guy if he is trying to turn it on without a game in the cart slot... it won't power up without a game.
JagWarlord #4 Posted November 15, 2003 Smoke is pouring out of the Jaguar and it smells really bad. What do I do?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #5 Posted November 15, 2003 I just noticed that there were no games in your listing.. ask the guy if he is trying to turn it on without a game in the cart slot... it won't power up without a game. AH HA! Thanks a bunch! I am going to email him right away with this. I am quite sure he doesn't have any games yet and is just jumping to conclusions. Thanks so much Lost Monkey, you have been a great help!

I see what's going on now. You guys are "life-savers". Now, I will wait for his reply to my last email and then let him have it! It is quite clear that he will not be receiving any kind of refund.....I have a perfect feedback record but will take the negative before I give this joker anything! Thanks a bunch Mcgrail! For what it's worth, I will keep you guys posted on what's happening.
Brad2600 #9 Posted November 15, 2003 He must be trying to scam you or something The emails he sent, look highly suspect to me.
Lost Monkey #10 Posted November 15, 2003 Oh boy! He can mix n' match until he gets all the best parts and then send the higher priced... I mean non-working unit back for a refund. Cha-Ching!
video game addict #11 Posted November 15, 2003 Sega power supply & Jag are identical both in rating & cosmetics. They look like they were made from the same mold. Using a Sega PS will not harm the Jag, using a NES power supply most likely would since it is AC. It's easy to plug the wrong type in and break something using AC on a DC system, but using a Genesis power supply like UpayMybills shipped would not harm anything. Was that RF bad or is it the RF output of the system that's screwy? I sold a Jaguar awhile back with two controllers, no games, a Genesis power supply and an RF, that worked but the RF output was damaged. It actually was bend from where it had been dropped on it's corner some time before. I could sometimes get a picture out of it, but I sold the controllers as working and the system as a throwin stated it was damaged, LOL that looks almost like my auction! I think I sent mine to Canada thou. Will the Jaguar title & roar not start up without a cart inserted? I thought it did come up without anything in it? Not positive thou, been awhile since I owned one. Also concerning your bidder, he could just have you confused with the other seller! I had some dude leave me negative feedback out of the blue, and when I emailed to ask what his problem was he said it was because I never replied back to his problem, after a few emails I found out that he bid on another system package some 2 months prior, with about 1/4 as many games, but left me a negative because the first seller never replied back. Some people are just not too bright.
