Nukey Shay Posted November 18, 2003 Share Posted November 18, 2003 Free websites like those usually have smaller roms (like the ones of arcades made around the crash). Larger ones are hard to find, because the bandwidth they would suck up would lead the domain owners right to them like a magnet (and the page would be killed for copyright violation). I suggest you get a decent news reader so you can download the floods that appear regularly on newsgroups (like alt.binaries.emulators.mame). As far as setting up Mame goes, you might want to try Mame32 if the native version is too confusing (Mame32 pretty much configures itself). So just download that, open it with Winzip, enable the folder info, and unzip it to any drive. Move zipped game roms into it's roms folder (do not unzip them)...and run Mame32.exe Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
