Famicoman #1 Posted November 27, 2003 I've seen some people who are making labels for some new homebrew games. Can someone tell me the programs, or sites they use to do this?

Famicoman #3 Posted November 27, 2003 yea, but where did you get all that atari like labeling, and logos, and pictures?
moycon #4 Posted November 27, 2003 I just use PhotoExplosion to make lables. You can probably use any graphic program you feel comfortable with. Here's an example of one done using PE:
liveinabin #5 Posted November 27, 2003 I'm Dave Exton, some of my stuff is in the store. I use, primarily, Photoshop 7 (for Mac) with a little A6 Wacom tablet. Every picture starts out as pencilled linework though and gets scanned in and worked over. For the occasional vector stuff I do I use the drawing tools in Flash (because they're easy) and I tend to put the manuals together in Illustrator. Famicoman #7 Posted November 27, 2003 Is there a special place that you went to to get the Lord of the rings label in atari font, and the Atari 2600 logo?

Famicoman #9 Posted November 27, 2003 I think you misunderstood, I cant go to google image and type in: 'Lord of the rings in Atari font".
CPUWIZ #10 Posted November 27, 2003 Oh, you mean the font, I thought you meant the image. All the fonts you will ever need. http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/Atar...l?SystemID=2600
Susuwatari #11 Posted November 27, 2003 Keep in mind it's a separate font that needs to be installed (usually simply dragging over to Font folder in the Windows folder) and if you have lots of font already, adding more would bog Windows even more. In Windows arent the Truetype fonts loaded into memory at startup? Thus eataing away at the Windows resources...

I downloaded some fonts before but I could not find the appropriate folder to install them in and when I attempted to do so, it did not work. Hmm. bjk7382 #21 Posted November 28, 2003 How do you cut it so perfect for the carts?I dont think scissors would look too professional .....would it? I use a stainless steel ruler and a razor knife. @ Famicoman - you will probly need to restart before they show up. and if they don't its the wrong folder. I thought one automatically got a crappy machine by using Windows Or one could always use Postscript fonts instead with Adobe Type manager. @Famicoman : What OS are you running? Have you tried to open the Control Panel/Fonts and then File/Install New Font?
