AlanD
I found that same named cart in Israel about 8 years ago and you got it in one. It is Flash Gordon. They definitely had some creative naming going on their stuff. I also found Free Way, Frogger, Plug Attack and Gramd Priks. AlanD
Redcurrie
Plug Attack I got a really scary visual when I read that. It isn't a pirate of one of the Mystique titles is it?
Cootster
"Fire Burg" = firebird = Phoenix . . . Am I right? And if these were made in Israel, what standard are they? Isn't it a SECAM nation? Aren't too many SECAM-native carts . . . And what rarity guide lists these? DPs? . . . Maybe they list Mexican Benji . . .
panamajoe
... will post some pics after this weekend ... will try some screenshots Fire Burg looks like a altered version of Missile Command, with "robots" instead of missiles dropping to your cities. Spirantho
That's Space Robot / Raumroboter then... very common on 5,000,000-in-1 clones/multicarts, and pretty common on a Taiwan style label... Flash Gordon is pretty common on them too... Love those daft-named carts... I got Gramd Prix, Suppermen and Peetfal recently on eBay... panamajoe
Thanks for the help to clear this up! Comparing screen shots i found out that - Fire Burg is Space Robot and - Sparker Gardon actually is Flash Gordon Crazy Pirate Stuff!

panamajoe
2. Sparker Gardon this is the same Pic as on another Taiwan Pirate called Space Raid... note the Mickey Mouse on the cheesy Fire Burg label ...
Megamaniac
note the Mickey Mouse on the cheesy Fire Burg label ... Something tells me the Disney conglomerate would not have approved! Were these possibly one-offs?
Megamaniac
Oh yeah...I don't know if anyone else thought so, but whoever drew that jet had an interesting understanding of aerodynamics. A little lopsided not to mention...I'm not sure what the side-aimed jets would accomplish aside from catastrophe!
christianscott27
i have a fortress defense in the exact same style as the fire burg. it has mickey and donald and another mickey cavorting around a pyramid type thing with rockets flying past. its really bad artwork, you can see how it was colored in with magic marker (darker overdraw lines and edged objects). i picked it up in a game/comics shop in new zealand. Spirantho
For anyone who's interested: the label on your Fire Burg actually depicts the game called Fire Spinner (IIRC), also very common on pirate clones. Strange game, involves rotating the joystick and lobbing fireballs....
