I can buy these for like 42 Cents each Than he charges two bucks shipping for an item that is probably sent in an envelope.. what a scammer, greedy bastard

It is expensive, but that's eBay for you. It's all about buying low and selling high. To someone who's never heard of these adapters before, even paying $8.95 (plus shipping) might be worthwhile if it means they can ditch an RF Switchbox. As with many items on eBay, someone who is willing to take the time to search an item elsewhere can often find a better (or much better) price.

I have actually purchased a few items on eBay that really were great deals. I've bought things that were well below the retail prices most regular stores were charging. eBay isn't great for everything, but sometimes you can get a good price, even if you have to factor in shipping.

I usually find the silver ones for 40 - 50 cents a piece. But all the online stores use UPS, so the base shipping price for even one of them is going to be about 7.00. (Good if you are buying in bulk though)

You can buy that adapter at walmart or radio shack for less than 6 bucks!

I've bought several from the AA store. Never seen them at Walmart or Best Buy, or any other places. I guess RS should have them, but it's easier to just buy from here most times. I figure it's got to cost $2-3 at least, at any B&M store, so it's inline with what the AA store charges. Plus I'm lazy I can add one or two or whatever in with an order whenever I'm picking up a hombrew & it's not any extra shipping.
