+Mitch
quoteI really want to get the catboxes working. Anybody know where to find a monitor and cables to hook it to as well as cables to link the boxes? You can use a standard TV with the catboxes composite or S-video ports. I think the networking cables are just standard telephone cables. Here's an online copy of the catbox manual, it has some info you may want to check out as well. Songbird
The DOOM project is on indefinite hold, which means it would be years, at the earliest, before I anticipate any significant progress in this area. I've simply goot too much on my plate already.
JagCollector
Just a few quick questions. Carl, is the new DOOM project dead? ORjust on the backboards indefinately? And, since I own 2 catboxes, 2 aircars, and 1 bsphere, I really want to get the catboxes working. Anybody know where to find a monitor and cables to hook it to as well as cables to link the boxes? I know ICD maybe made them (if they ever actually delivered, who knows)but does anybody else make them? And finally, my bsphere came without the instruction book. While I could probably get it from the net, I would much rather buy one of the originals. ANybody willing maybe to sell just the instruction book? Thanks guys

sirlynxalot
I think it was an idea to do a full reskin of doom on jaguar with new levels and graphics to in that sense make a new game.
Songbird
Must be retro-post week here at AA. My DOOM project was an early attempt to take advantage of the WAD flexibility in DOOM. However we didn't spend enough time back then understanding how the Jaguar WAD was different from the PC WAD, so the project stalled before it ever really got off the ground. Since then other hobby developers have made much more progress, and we've seen videos of DOOM 2, Hexen, etc. all running on the Jag. Very cool!
