bjk7382 #2 Posted December 7, 2003 Looks like a used game that got resold by a store. If you have ever seen the newer ones that the stores put out with a green card on the back and they are all coverd in plastic like that.
SteelerFan #3 Posted December 7, 2003 I agree..with so many businesses dealing with used video games, I would not be surprised this is from a reseller. Interesting pic though! Thanks for posting the link.
Mock #4 Posted December 7, 2003 I posted a link to a Coleco Adam/CV game that was in a blisterpack like that, others here said they had seen them in retail outlets, that one looks to be a stapled re-pack although it may have come from a retailer like that? maybe someone opened it in the store...from what I can tell these were sold in toy stores on racks around the time of the big crash. Susuwatari #5 Posted December 7, 2003 This one reminded me of another generic packs: Toys R Us. When they had games missing box (usually the box are on display) they'd put the game and manual in a generic grey box with blue grid background. Probably the same thing with that auction, a repack with generic box or pack. Note it said Atari even though it's a Coleco game and the blister looks to be stapled on not glued on. ATARIPITBULL #6 Posted December 8, 2003 That sounds like it could be, but would they have had blisterpacks made up with Atari font letters for just a few games to re-sell, or do you think there might be a chance that Atari them selves made these?
