Activision Patch sets for sale

Recommended Posts

:ponder: $10 - $20 each sounds fair to me, but these are complete collections, so expect to pay more I guess.

I don't really know what these sets are worth myself I just thought I

would put them here first with the BIN's I was going to use on ebay.

They will be started with a lower price and no reserve so there is a

chance they will sell for less.

Some were won by me, some were acquired over the years but most

were won by different soldiers of 7th Aviation Battalion flight platoon

at Fort Ord between 1980 1982, I guess I am showing my age but

during those years I was the acting NCO in charge of the first flight

platoon were we had a 2600 set up in our flight ready room, I would

use the extra money from the coffee fund to buy the different games.

We always had a Polaroid camera there for the high scores and would

stick the patches up over the TV when someone would win one. Not sure

how or why I ended up with them when I ETS but they all went with me,

I did leave the 2600 and all the games behind as I remember having to buy

them all again which coincidentally were paid for partly by ATARI as my

first job out of the military was Aircraft re-fueler at the North Field Oakland

International airport were one of the aircraft I would service was ATARI's

G2.

Cool story, thanks. I bet this will help eliminate worries about any of them being fakes. :)

I know we're getting old. LOL
