TCM at $74 with a manual it is a great deal. They go for around $85 without the manual and about $100 to 125 with manual. Great deal

Maybe I haven't been paying attention but I haven't seen a Light Gun appear in a long time. You might think with the amount of Alien Brigades and Barnyard Blasters that have appeared recently, someone would auction a Light Gun now and then.

Just to compare prices, I paid $110 for TCM+manual 2 years ago;and just paid $78 for a loose copy of Halloween.I guess the holidays are the best time to buy if you got some money tucked away.

I waited FOREVER for a light gun to show up! Finally I said the hell with it and started watching the xegs systems. Since I only wanted it for the gun, I watched for broken systems, ones without games, etc. I finally won one for $15.99 just the system, the gun, and power supply (I think it had a joystick too) I emailed the seller after I'd won and asked him if he'd make a deal. I said I would pay the $16.00 for the gun and he could keep the unit if he paid for shipping. He agreed and even sent it priority.

Yeah, I wasted the system but the LAST thing the wife would allow is another game system, plus it would have been (at least) $10 bucks to ship...the xegs is no lighweight.

I've also noticed that a seller called "beatles_4_ever" has a TON of rare 7800 games! I think he found a warehouse somewhere with lots of Alien Brigades and Motor Psychos...

I only got one complaint with beatles_4_ever: every auction is a 10 day auction. I hate 10 day auctions, having to wait that long to see if you win something.

 

Guess I never outgrew my childhood when my parents would put presents under the tree 2 weeks before Christmas. Drove me up the wall having to wait and wait; I guess that impatience has now carried over to eBay 10 day auctions
