goatdan #1 Posted December 11, 2003 If you want some X-Mas gifts for someone else or just want to grab some stuff for yourself out of the following list, make me an offer and if it's halfway decent it's yours! In an effort to be fair, I will accept all offers via PM and will go with the first offer for items as long as the offer is reasonable. I want to keep the systems and accessories mostly together though, so don't make me an offer on all of the controllers We all know what these items are worth, and while I'm not looking for huge values I simply can't afford to give it all away. All shipping will be done by Priority Mail unless you would like to purchase a box for me to package stuff in. I will be adding stuff to this list over the next few days, and I'll remove the stuff that has been sold. I can accept payments by PayPal, money orders or credit cards through the GOAT Store Before sending, I will re-test all of the items to ensure they work. All items are in good condition unless mentioned. I can also take pictures of items if you wish. Playstation Hardware - PSX system, badly scuffed up but working. Mr.FoodMonster #2 Posted December 11, 2003 Stick those Steel Battallian's on eBay, they can fetch a pretty nice price.
goatdan #3 Posted December 11, 2003 That's where I'm probably going to send them on Saturday. I just despise eBay
tyranthraxus #4 Posted December 11, 2003 I don't follow the Xbox scene at all but what is with the prices on those Steel Battalions? I'm surprised to see a modern game with such a value.
Hydian #5 Posted December 11, 2003 Steel battalion is a game with a large and involved controller system. It's a pretty spiffy setup, sort of like a bridge between normal console games and the Battletech pods. I think it retailed at $200, but I don't remember now. Pretty close to impossible to find at retail anymore.
MegaManFan #6 Posted December 11, 2003 Here's what you need to know about it: * It's BIG * It's HEAVY * It's got a GODZILLION buttons * It only works for one game (MAYBE another if they make a sequel) Basically, if they ever made a real life version of a mech, the controls in the cockpit would probably be pretty damn close to what you get. It even has an eject button!
goatdan #7 Posted December 12, 2003 Here's what you need to know about it: * It's BIG * It's HEAVY * It's got a GODZILLION buttons * It only works for one game (MAYBE another if they make a sequel) Basically, if they ever made a real life version of a mech, the controls in the cockpit would probably be pretty damn close to what you get. It even has an eject button! You've got it pretty much right... Capcom only produced 10,000 of these sticks, and will never produce them again (or so they currently say). When the sequel comes out, which will be XBox Live enabled, a modified smaller stick will be an option for that game. And it features (if I recall) two large joysticks, two small joysticks, about 45 different buttons and three foot pedals. If you took a normal steering wheel controller, and then made it three times as long, you'd have Steel Battallion.
NebraskaDragon #8 Posted December 12, 2003 I bought a Steel Batallion with box at EB a couple weeks ago for $190 and sold it on ebay for $293. Good times.
