SpendTooMuchOnAtari #1 Posted December 16, 2003 Any offers on this? It is weird that the game states "ATARI GAME PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS" on the top label. What a weird looking cart! PM Me with Any Offers on this one or if not, it will just hit eBay. Thanks!! EDIT: This game is now on eBay....http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3066184943
Tempest #2 Posted December 16, 2003 Yeah that has to be one of the best examples of an 86 re-release error. You've got to wonder exactly who Atari was hiring to do their QA... Tempest

Tempest Yes, but my game is copyrighted 1988, not 1986. It is a little hard to see in the pic but the game is copyrighted 1988. And, it is NTSC. From 86 to 88 Atari made some REALLY bad errors on the labels. Tempest
MattyXB #6 Posted December 17, 2003 The PAL version is very common. I have see them often on eBay. And it has always the P sticker at the front lable at the bottom. Bad that this P sticker is missing by mine.

Atari Rescue Group #9 Posted December 17, 2003 I've got that 1988 version as well, and the end label script is a sky blue color while the top label is the pictured green.
Cassidy Nolen #10 Posted December 17, 2003 I have one that smells like cat pee. Check my post out about the pee-soaked lot.... Sad they made it all those years, just to end their lives due to incontinent (SP?)kitty. Cassidy
