But I think that you'd really benefit by having a memory track if you're gonna attempt to finish it. Blue Lighting was fun on the Lynx. Never got around to trying it on the CD but I heard/read that it was a fairly lackluster Jag CD release. Sure looks like fun, though. Battlemorph and IS2 seem to be the best of the Jag CD releases. I don't think Blue Lightning deserves its awful press either; it's not actually that bad a game, and better than Afterburner (imho).
